Light Rail Connects to Phoenix Sky Harbor via Sky Train

It’s official! The long awaited train going straight to Sky Harbor Airport is finally operational. On April 8th the Phoenix Sky Train, an automated electric powered train, opened at Terminal 4 of Phoenix Sky Harbor. Terminal 4 is the most active terminal at Sky Harbor serving 80 percent of airport passengers. This train connects the airport with the regional Metro light rail system.

Sky Train has received LEED Gold status from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and will arrive and depart every three minutes 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The plan is to eventually serve ALL terminals with a station at Terminal 3, a walkway to Terminal 2, and a connection service to the Rental Car Center.

For more information you can visit the Valley Metro website. And don’t forget, finding properties that are convenient to the light rail system is just a phone call away- 480.323.5462!
