Sincuidados means “without care.”

In 1985 Dick Johnes borrowed money from an Ohio based lending institution to design and build the infrastructure of this community.

At that time Pima Road was only 2 lanes and had no lights or service stations north of Shea Boulevard. In 1990, the design of the community won an award for the way it blended with the desert.  This neighborhood is now highly sought after and has homes in the million dollar range.
